Dental Implants in Ibi

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium or zirconia that is inserted into the maxillary or mandibular bone to replace the root of a missing tooth. A crown is then placed on top of it, which exactly mimics the appearance and function of a natural tooth. Unlike removable dentures, an implant is fixed in place, does not move, and functions exactly like a natural tooth.

At our dental clinic, located in Ibi, we handle the entire process under one roof: from diagnosis using dental CT scans and intraoral scanners to computer-guided surgery and the placement of the final prosthesis. No referrals or unnecessary waiting.

Permanent result

The implant fuses with the bone through a natural process called osseointegration. With proper care, it lasts a lifetime.

Computer-Guided Surgery

We plan each implant in 3D before surgery to ensure maximum precision and safety in every case.

Titanium or zirconium

We work with the most advanced materials on the market, tailored to each individual case and to each patient’s aesthetic needs.

All types of cases

Who is this treatment for?

They are the most comprehensive solution for replacing one or more missing teeth. Whether you’ve lost a tooth due to cavities, trauma, or periodontitis, or if you’ve been wearing a denture for years that you’re not satisfied with, we’ll evaluate your case and let you know if you’re a candidate.

Loss of one or more teeth

The most effective solution for permanently and definitively replacing missing teeth without affecting adjacent healthy teeth.

Removable dentures that don’t fit well

If your dentures shift around, bother you, or make it difficult to eat and speak, implants can restore the stability and comfort you need.

Totally edentulous (toothless)

The All-on-4 and All-on-6 solutions allow patients to restore a full arch with just four or six implants, providing a fixed result from day one.

Bone Deficiency in the Maxilla

Even in cases of severe bone resorption, we have solutions: from bone grafts to zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone.

Types of Implants

Not all implant cases are the same. Depending on the teeth to be replaced, the condition of the bone, and the time available, Dr. Hernández will recommend the type of implant that is best for you.

Single-tooth dental implant

Single-tooth implants

The standard solution for replacing a single tooth. A titanium or zirconia implant acts as a root, and a crown is placed on top of it that perfectly mimics the natural tooth in shape and color. Without affecting the adjacent teeth.

Dental Bridge in Implantology

Implant-Supported Bridge

When several adjacent teeth are missing, we place two implants to support a fixed bridge consisting of three or more crowns. There is no need to prepare the adjacent teeth or to place an implant for each missing tooth.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 Dental Implants

All-on-4 / All-on-6

It allows for the restoration of the entire dental arch—upper, lower, or both—using just four or six implants as a foundation. The most comprehensive solution for patients who have lost all or almost all of their teeth.

immediate-load implant

Instant upload

An advanced technique that allows for the placement of an implant and a fixed temporary prosthesis in less than 24 hours. You leave the clinic the same day with functional teeth and without having to wait for months.

Dr. Fernando Hernández

Who will perform the treatment on me?

Dr. Fernando Hernández, Implantologist

Implant dentistry requires precision, planning, and experience. Every implant I place is planned down to the millimeter before the procedure.

I am Dr. Fernando Hernández, a specialist in Oral Surgery and Implantology and co-director of the Hernández & Espuelas Dental Clinic in Ibi. I earned my degree in Dentistry from UCH-CEU and completed the Official Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Murcia. Since 2016, I have also served as an adjunct professor for that same master’s program, which requires me to stay constantly up to date on surgical techniques, materials, and protocols in advanced implantology. At our clinic, we plan each case using dental CT scans and computer-guided surgery to ensure predictable, safe, and long-lasting results starting with the very first implant.

Testimonials

What do our patients say?

At Hernández & Espuelas, every patient has a different story, but they all have one thing in common: they came in with a question or a problem and left with a solution. Here’s what they’ve told us.

I’d been thinking about getting an implant for years, but I kept putting it off out of fear and because I thought it would be a very long process. That turned out to be nothing like reality. Dr. Hernández explained to me from the start that with immediate loading, I could have the tooth that very same day—I couldn’t believe it. I walked in in the morning and walked out in the afternoon with the implant and the prosthesis already in place. There was hardly any pain—just a little discomfort the first few days, which I managed with ibuprofen. I’m super happy with the result and with how the whole team treated me.

Ana B.

I’m very happy—the service was very friendly. Álvaro helped me; he was really courteous and professional.

Santi

Everyone was great to work with. A fantastic result, and Álvaro and Fernando were very professional.

How do we do it?

Step-by-Step Guide to Dental Implant Treatment

Dental implants may sound complicated, but the process is simpler than you might think. We’ll walk you through each step so you can arrive at your first appointment with complete confidence.

1

Initial Visit and Diagnosis

We perform a dental CT scan and an intraoral scan to assess the quantity and quality of your bone. We’ll explain your options and which one is best for you. No obligation.

2

3D Digital Planning

We use a computer to plan the exact position of each implant before surgery. This allows us to predict the outcome and ensure maximum safety during the procedure.

3

Implant Placement

We perform guided surgery using a minimally invasive approach, under local anesthesia, and in most cases in less than an hour. If it’s an immediate loading procedure, temporary fixed teeth are placed that same day.

4

Osseointegration and Follow-up

The implant integrates naturally into the bone over the following months. We monitor its progress at each follow-up visit until the final result is achieved.

5

Permanent prosthesis

Once the implant has integrated, we place the crown, bridge, or permanent prosthesis that exactly mimics the appearance and function of your natural teeth. The result is permanent.
